Haxe Roundup 160
Rob Fell has released awe6 2.0.572 the inverted game framework to haxelib. It now plays nice with Haxe 3 and OpenFL.
Nicolas recently tweeted about a new library which allows you to use Haxe and Unity3D together called hugs…
There is also another library called hx-unity3d which does the same thing.
Eugene has updated his SpineHx library which adds improved support for the HaxeJS target. For those who don’t know what Spine is, it’s an 2D skeletal animation tool.
Eugene’s github repo has demo’s for Flash, HTML5, Linux and Android. It is also supported by HaxeFlixel and Flambe support.
Eugene also came across the development branch of Nicolas’s h3d library that has support for WebGL.
Walter has documented how he adds native extensions to OpenFL.
Jaroslav has written a simple example on using the OUYA in app purchases with OpenFL.
And finally Jacob Williams has posted a very impressive OpenFL shader demo running on the HTML5 target. Give it a few seconds to switch to the next example. Any one know if the source is available? It’s from the OpenFL samples repo!
